Viva La Pasta!!!

So last night I stayed up way too late on my birthday. I only got like 3 hours of sleep and today I woke up at 6 to take my grandma to breakfast. Then I had promised my friend I would go golfing with him right after. I showed up exhausted and he was too so we said screw it let’s get lunch. We used Yelp! to find a cool restaurant and it directed us to Viva La Pasta! I was expecting like a quick sit down restraunt but instead it was much fancier. The food was good and service was excellent. Highly recomended.

Jelly Fish…

So for my birthday my girlfriend took me to the aquarium of the pacific in Long Beach. It was way cool and basically saw every sea animal you can imagine. I’m a bg sucker for jelly fish. It amazes me that the same creature we put on our bread with peanutbutter can be so cool in a tank. Definitley one of the coolest creatures I have ever seen.

Went to Rocco’s Chicken and Waffles for the first time. Food: OK. Service: OK. Bathrooms: Excellent. I think the bathrooms are worth more than the whole building.

14 Hour Energy…

Bought a 14 hour energy drink today. I’m a bit nervous but more excited to drink it. I’m a big fan of energy drinks and I’m always looking for new ones. Looks promising but we’ll see.

Chris & The Fridge…

So my co-worker and I were able to get a mini fridge a couple months ago from another employee who was let go. Not a bad deal right? Well unfortunatley the fridge was absoulutley disgusting. It smelled horrible and had a brown filth inside. We decided we needed to clean it to make it useable. He suggested rock paper scissors. He lost 3-0. Ya I was pretty happy because I suck at rock paper scissors. Well a week goes by and he still hasn’t even touched it. And then another week and another and I have been bugging him like everyday to get it done. He kept postponing it and saying he needed gloves or things like that. Well one day I had enough of his excuses so I told him he’s gotta do it now. He finally did it and it is definitley blog worthy. It’s been a long time coming…

The Protest…

As I was driving home from work there was a protest going on in front of the federal building. I’m not sure what they were protesting but I believe they were waving the Iranian flag. Everyone was honking either in support or dissaproval. I’m not sure which. I honked too just because I like using my horn.

Hummingbird…

So this hummingbird was stuck in my garage and could not get out. I was able to pick it up and nurse it back to health. I’ve never held a hummingbird so it was pretty cool.

Jumbo Shrimp…

So my girlfriend and I (The girl on the right) went to universal citywalk for a friends birthday and we ran into a giant shrimp walking around. It was weird. The funny part was that he scared them right after I took the picture. It was a fun night. The service sucked at Hard Rock as did the food. But the giant shrimp made it fun.

Lemon Cake…

So my girlfriend and her friend made a cake for her best friend. She requested to have a yellow lemon cake made and thats what my girlfriend did. It was deffinitley a very interesting looking cake and she tried her best to be creative as possible. I’m sure it will taste much better than it looks.
